About wrkr by Virtuals

wrkr is a managed AI coding workstation and app runtime built around one persistent Linux virtual machine for each user. The machine keeps its CPU, memory, disk, operating-system state, home directory, tools, files, and local services between sessions. Users connect through a streamed browser desktop or native Mac app and run their own AI coding harness, including Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, or OpenCode. The same machine supports editing, terminals, browser testing, builds, previews, deployment tools, and always-on app serving. wrkr provides the computer and operating substrate; it does not provide or control the user's AI model account.
